Hi everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that the state tests this year will take place on April 19th and 20th as well as May 9th and 10th.  Please make sure your children are here and well rested. We are preparing for this test at school.  This test will be taken on a laptop in the classroom. Continue working on the hw packets, fluency card, hfw, rvw’s on a daily basis. This will help prepare your child:)

The instructions for the math project were sent home yesterday. The project is due on Feb. 22nd please be sure to work on it over the weekend.

The field trip is rescheduled for March 10th.  I will be sending home another permission slip. Of course you have already paid so you do not need to send in any money! Thanks!

Welcome back!  Remember to read for 20 minutes each night. Practice the high frequency words and robust vocabulary words. Also read the fluency card for one minute daily!

Hi everyone, I am very sorry but the trip on Thursday is canceled.  The trip is all outdoors. The nature center decided it would be best to reschedule due to the cold weather. I will let you know when I find out the new date. I am sorry for any problems this has caused.

Students are welcome to bring a stuffed animal, small blanket, or pj’sto school on Friday. They will be able to put their pj’ s over their regular clothes. We are going to be watching the Polar Express and having some hot cocoa and candy canes. We can’t wait!

Our trip is on Thursday! Please dress warm it is OUTSIDE!!! It will be cold. We will be back in time for our regular school lunch!
